While the minimum number of bikes one should own is 3, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned.
You always need 1 more.

( n+1 ) cafe is the final piece in a vision for a third place, located in Rocket Bicycle Studio in Verona, WI.

(n+1) cafe is a space to fuel up to start your day, a space to cap off a successful bike ride with a beer, a space to share great coffee with friends, a space for focus and inspiration.

We want everyone in the community and all those who travel from afar to feel at home in our space at (n+1) cafe. Get your zen on while you sip a perfectly made coffee or one of our rotating tap beers. Don’t have time to stay? Stop by and say “Hi” and grab something to-go!

who we are

(n+1) cafe is the culmination of a long and growing journey for Jessica Laufenberg & Peter Oyen. It is the natural third space for the bike shop + endurance training clientele, but it is so much more.

Beginning in 2006, Jessica created SBR Endurance in Verona to train endurance athletes. In 2009, Jessica joined with Peter, who created Rocket Bicycle Studio, and they then expanded the shared space to include designated space for coaching, training, and bike fitting/performance lab .

Since 2010 Jessica & Peter have been planning, redesigning, and refining their vision to expand their businesses to include a cafe and beer cafe- an area where the community could lounge, learn, share, and chill.

Finally, in August of 2018, the vision came to fruition with a relocation of the existing ventures and grand opening of the cafe at 507 Bruce Street. Read a short story about their relocation in the Verona Press.
